Meditation
Meditation, group courses (online via Zoom)
I teach 8-week-courses (one class per week), in which several meditation techniques are taught. It is taken into account that the approach to meditation and mindfulness can be very individual.
The lessons are based on the Unified Mindfulness system (created by Shinzen Young). It is a secular, pragmatic and very well-defined mindfulness concept with clear terminology, which emphasizes the common elements of all meditation styles.
In addition to guided meditations, the courses offer plenty of opportunity for questions and exchange of experiences. We also talk in detail about how to successfully and sustainably integrate a meditation practice into one's everyday life.
Meditation, one-on-one teaching
(online via Zoom, or via telephone)
In the one-on-one sessions, meditation techniques are taught on the basis the system of Unified Mindfulness, taking into account the individual meditation path. A session typically begins with an evaluation of the client's mindfulness experiences in the past week, a guided meditation, and a follow-up conversation. The guided meditation can be interactive, meaning that we will enter into a dialogue about the client's perceptions and experiences, while meditating.
The focus of each lesson is derived from the client's individual situation and path. No previous meditation experience is required.
